Flat Rate Shipping

We offer flat rate standard shipping Australia-wide for $12.95 via Australia Post. All orders are sent with tracking.

Local Pickup & Delivery

If you’re located in or near Mission Beach, you’re welcome to arrange for local pickup or delivery.
Please select “Local” at checkout only if this has been arranged in advance — otherwise, you will be invoiced separately for postage before your order is shipped.

Please note: Child car seats (restraints) are only available for local pickup or local delivery. They cannot be posted.

Dispatch Timeframes

• We aim to ship all orders within 2–3 business days of receiving payment.

• Custom orders may take up to 3 weeks to complete and ship.

• If we foresee any delays, we’ll reach out and let you know.

Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. If your order hasn’t arrived within a reasonable time frame, please contact us and we’ll assist with tracking.

Returns & Refund Policy

By placing an order with Bad Dad Designs, you agree to the terms outlined below. This policy applies to all customers purchasing via our website or in person at events or markets.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selections, or if you find the item cheaper elsewhere. Please ensure product descriptions and images match your expectations before purchasing.

Defective or Damaged Items

All items are quality-checked before shipping. If you receive a product that is damaged or faulty:

1. Please contact us within 14 days of purchase.

2. We’ll assess the issue and offer a:

   • Replacement (same item, if in stock),

   • Exchange (of equal value), or

   • Refund.

Postage costs are non-refundable.

Returns Process

1. Contact us via the Contact Us page and request a Return Authorisation.

2. Once approved, send the item back to us in original condition.

3. Once received and inspected, we’ll process your replacement, credit note, or refund.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is confirmed to be faulty.

Nature of Handmade Products

Every Bad Dad Designs product is handmade in Australia. Due to this, each item may vary slightly in colour, size, or pattern placement. These variations are part of the charm and are not considered defects.

Items on Sale

All “Specials” or discounted “Sale” items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. We do not offer refunds to alternative accounts or cards.
